So J.K. Rowling has a new book coming out this year! It’s not about Harry Potter. It’s apparently something very different from Harry. But nothing much has been revealed so far – not the book’s title, what it’s about or when it’s published. There’s rumors going around that it’s going to be a crime novel. Now, I don’t like crime fiction that much, never reads it in fact (except Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie) but I would make an exception for Rowling.
She evolved and grew a lot as a writer while writing the Harry Potter books and she has a wonderful imagination. No matter what genre her next book will be, I’m sure it will be a great read. So add this to the list of books I’m really excited about in 2012.
